The Corn hole Board is usually made up of wood. Wood shows resistance to liquid and atmospheric conditions so it makes it ideal for preparing Corn hole Board. Custom cornhole boards are is made by assembling together several pieces of plywood. This assembling is done with the help of screws and gum which creates a board like structure.  Finally on this corn hole board, a coat of paint is applied to make it water resistant. In a normal court two corn hole boards are kept twenty seven feet apart from each other, this creates gap of thirty three feet between both the holes.

The gap between two cornhole boards is measured by calculating the gap between the bottom of those two cornhole boards. This implies that when measuring the gap between the bottoms of those two cornhole boards comes to about twenty seven feet. Though this rule needs to be followed but many times the gap is reduced for younger players or if the length of the court is not sufficient to provide desired amount of space between two cornhole boards. The bottom line of a cornhole board marks the foul line of a game and none of the players can cross that mark. Corn hole board plans are designed in such a way that the upper end remains twelve inches from the ground and the lower end remains three to four inches above the ground.
